The Adivasi Mela Bhubaneswar Tribal Exhibition & Festival is one of the oldest and most colorful festivals of the tribal people which showcases art, culture, music, tradition and artifacts. It is set up by Odisha government every year.

History of Adivasi Mela

  1. Adivasi Mela was started in 1951 on 26th January under the patronage of Adivasi and Harijan Welfare Department
  2. Customarily its inaugurated on January 26th every year coinciding with Indian Republic day
  3. Each year. subtle changes of tone and tenor ale brought into the design and layout of the exhibition to make it more attractive to the people
