Pamukkale hot springs with its healing power has been attracting tourist since 2^nd century BC. The hot spring due to volcanic activities and minerals present makes it a healing destination by nature.There are 17 hot water springs in which the temperature ranges from 35 °C (95 °F) to 100 °C (212 °F).  Pamukkale thermal waters are bursting with healthy minerals and are said to be good for circulation issues, skin ailments, heart conditions and rheumatism.

History of  Pamukkale hot springs

1. At the end of the 2nd century B.C. the dynasty of the Attalids, the kings of Pergamon, established the thermal spa of Hierapolis at Pamukkale
2. The Hierapolis flourishedto its peak till 2nd and 3rd centuries A.D. By 60AD an earth quake destroyed all
3. Till mid of 20^th century hotels were made over the remains of Hierapolis
4. Hierapolis-Pamukkale was made a World Heritage Site in 1988
5. Once it was announced World heritage site, the hotel there were demolished
