Sculpture by the Sea is the largest free public sculpture exhibition in the world. Its an annual event.  In this 18 days long exhibition, more than 70 artists from Australia and abroad will participate. The exhibition is conducted at Perth, Western Australian famous for its beaches and natural wonders.

History of  Sculpture by the Sea Exhibition.

  1. The founder of Sculpture by the Sea is David Handley
  2. This Exhibition was started in 1997
  3. This was inspired from  outdoor sculpture park in Klatovy, northern Bohemia
  4. In 2005 a companion event was started in Cottesloe Beach 
  5. The first Sculpture by Sea outside Australia was initiated in 2009 at Aarhus (Denmark  )

Summers are generally hot and dry, lasting from December to March, with February generally the hottest month. Winters are cool and wet .Temperatures above 40 °C (104 °F) are fairly common in the summer months.
